Handcrafted with meticulous care for detail, the maple wood base features a series of squares of different sizes, overlapped in a striking geometric composition, and topped with a glass layer.
Ferdinando Meccani was born in 1937 to Cascina ( Pisa ) Italy and died in 2018. Ferdinanado
grew up in a family where furniture is made called Mobilificio Meccani Marino in Florence and
has collaborated with world-class artists and designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Michael Graves, Paolo Portoghesi, Ugo La Pietra, Adolfo Natalini, Masao Noguchi, Lanfranco Benvenuti and many more.
